Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in network configurations, security, hardware support, and IT asset tracking. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining routers, switches, VLANs, LAN, access control systems, biometrics, CCTV installations, and IT hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

Network & Security Management:

• Configure, install, and maintain routers, switches, VLANs, LAN/WAN networks.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor and secure the network with firewalls and access control systems.
• Set up and manage VPNs, remote access, and authentication protocols.

Access Control & Biometrics:

• Configure and maintain access control systems and biometric devices.
• Ensure smooth functioning of employee authentication and security protocols.
• Troubleshoot access-related issues and maintain logs for security audits.

New Network Setup & Infrastructure Management:

• Plan and implement new network setups for office expansions or upgrades.
• Work with vendors for procurement and deployment of network equipment.
• Ensure structured cabling, rack management, and network stability.

CCTV Installation & Maintenance:

• Configure, install, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems.
• Monitor CCTV network performance and troubleshoot camera connectivity issues.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and data retention guidelines.

Daily IT Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

• Perform daily network health checks and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Maintain printers, scanners, and IT peripherals, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, and mobile devices for employees.
• Handle basic software and hardware troubleshooting.

Asset Management & Documentation:

• Maintain an accurate IT asset inventory (hardware, network devices, etc.).
• Track IT infrastructure health, software licenses, and system updates.
• Document network configurations, system upgrades, and issue resolutions.
• Strong knowledge of routers, switches, VLANs, LAN/WAN, and network security.
• Experience with access control systems, biometric authentication, and CCTV installations.
• Proficiency in hardware networking, printer troubleshooting, and IT asset management.
• Hands-on experience in laptop/mobile device configuration and basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and incident resolution strategies.
• Ability to set up new network infrastructure and manage day-to-day IT operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Preferred Certifications (Optional):
• CCNA / CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional)
• CompTIA Network+ / Security+
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (For Cloud Networking Exposure)Honest
