London Stock Exchange Group is hiring for the position of Network Engineer

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, configure, and implement network solutions to meet the organization's requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide network solutions accordingly.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve network outages or disruptions promptly.
• Perform regular network maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and hardware upgrades.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize network performance and efficiency.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance network reliability and speed.
• Collaborate with network hardware and software vendors to acquire necessary equipment, licenses, and support services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) are often preferred.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in a financial or high-availability environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with firewall, VPN, and security technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
