Google is hiring for the role of Network Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

  • Perform scheduled configuration changes to network switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless devices
  • Identify network issues, and determine, and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Help to automate the configuration of Linux servers and network devices
  • Help to design, deploy, and maintain lab and production network infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience with network routing protocols, design, and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers
  • 3 years of experience implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting Linux/Unix operating systems, Internet-based applications, and web servers
  • Experience in network engineering and wireless technology (e.g., WiFi, LTE, 5G)
  • Experience in networking, storage, Python, Shell Scripting, and Kubernetes
  • Experience in coding or scripting language
