National Credit Manager – SME Job in Jaipur at Sk Finance Limited

Job Responsibility:

1. Credit Leadership & Governance:

• Lead the end-to-end credit underwriting function for the SME secured portfolio across locations.
• Establish and monitor credit risk assessment frameworks in line with internal policy.
• Ensure prudent appraisal of financials, banking, cash flow assessment, and repayment capacity.
• Drive portfolio quality, delinquency control, and risk containment strategies.
• Monitor early warning signals and ensure timely corrective measures.

2. Technical (Valuation) Oversight:

• Supervise property valuation and technical due diligence processes.
• Ensure valuation practices are aligned with approved panel valuers and internal technical standards.
• Review technical risk parameters such as property condition, marketability, and enforceability.
• Monitor adherence to TAT and quality standards in technical evaluations.

3. Business Legal Function Oversight (Pre-Disbursement):

• Oversee legal scrutiny of property documents prior to loan login and sanction.
• Ensure clear title verification, chain verification, encumbrance checks, and mortgage creation compliance.
• Standardize legal processes across branches to minimize documentation risk.
• Coordinate with empaneled legal counsel for opinion validation where required.
• Ensure proper execution of security documentation prior to disbursement.

4. Policy & Compliance Alignment:

• Ensure adherence to internal credit policy, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support compliance, internal audit, and risk teams during periodic reviews.
• Recommend policy enhancements based on portfolio trends and market risks.
• Maintain robust documentation and approval matrices.

5. Team & Functional Leadership:

• Lead and mentor the team of Credit, Technical, and Business Legal across Pan Company.
• Define KRAs and performance benchmarks aligned with portfolio quality.
• Build a strong risk culture across the SME vertical.
• Conduct periodic review meetings with regional and state teams.

6. Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting:

• Present periodic portfolio performance reports to senior management.
• Track approval ratios, portfolio mix, TAT, delinquency trends, and risk concentration.
• Recommend strategic inputs for controlled business expansion.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of SME secured lending and LAP products.
• Expertise in financial statement analysis and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of property valuation practices and legal documentation structure.
• Leadership and stakeholder management capability.
• High integrity and governance orientation.

Qualification & Experience:

• CA / MBA (Finance) / Equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum 15–25 years of experience in secured SME / LAP credit.
• Prior experience in handling multi-location credit teams.
• Experience in managing technical and business legal functions will be an added advantage.

Authority & Accountability:

• Responsible for credit risk oversight of the SME secured portfolio.
• Accountable for ensuring quality underwriting and adherence to policy.
• Decision-making authority as per approved delegation matrix.
