Smartfish Designs is hiring for the role of Motion Graphics / Video Editor!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Create engaging motion graphics, video content, teasers, and animated visuals for clients and internal campaigns.
• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, professional videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Develop storyboards and visual concepts based on briefs and project goals.
• Apply animation principles to add fluidity, personality, and polish to video assets.
• Collaborate closely with the design, content, and client servicing teams to bring concepts to life.
• Ensure all videos are optimized for various platforms such as social media, web, and presentations.
• Manage project timelines and deliver content within deadlines.
• Stay updated on latest trends in motion graphics & apply ideas to ongoing projects.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of professional experience in motion graphics and video editing.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Good understanding of animation fundamentals – Squash Stretch, Anticipation, Staging, Exaggeration, etc.
• Experience in storyboarding, conceptualization, and executing animations from start to finish.
• Familiarity with video compression and export settings for web and social media use.
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills.
• Ability to take feedback positively and revise work accordingly.
• A portfolio showcasing your motion design and editing work is a must.
