Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform portfolio-level financial analysis to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Conduct data preprocessing, including handling missing values and outliers.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to guide appropriate modeling approaches.
• Assist in building predictive models using decision trees, regression, and clustering techniques.
• Apply macro-economic insights for capital prediction and stress testing.
• Document key processes with standard operating procedures.
• Translate business problems into data science projects with measurable outcomes.
• Summarize analytical results into actionable insights and present to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share best practices and align definitions/calculations.
• Stay updated on industry trends in data science tools, platforms, and algorithms.
• Test and provide feedback on new data science tools and techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Analysis, Economics or related field of study.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Analysis, Economics or related field of study.
• Certified or pursuing CFA, FRM, or equivalent certifications.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in Model risk, data analytics or financial reporting.
• Experience with Python, SQL, or SAS
