Job Description

• We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail POS Technical Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in D365 Commerce / Retail POS development. The role requires working on partner-led global implementations and demands excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, functional teams, and stakeholders in a fully remote environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize D365 Retail / Commerce POS (MPOS / CPOS / Store Commerce App) 
• Develop POS Extensions, CRT Extensions, and Hardware Station customizations 
• Perform X++ customizations related to Retail / Commerce modules 
• Work on Commerce Runtime (CRT), Retail Server, and Channel Database customizations 
• Develop and integrate APIs / Web Services with third-party systems 
• Handle Retail POS deployment, packaging, hotfixes, and version upgrades 
• Actively participate in client discussions, requirement clarifications, and technical walkthroughs 
• Provide technical support during UAT, Go-Live, and Post Go-Live phases 
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and architects to deliver scalable solutions 
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization 
• Maintain clear documentation and follow Microsoft best practices and partner delivery standards Promise Delivered Consistently 

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail / Commerce POS – 8+ years 
• Strong hands-on experience with MPOS, CPOS, and Store Commerce App 
• X++ development (Retail / Commerce-specific) • POS Extensions (TypeScript / JavaScript) 
• CRT Extensions (C# .NET) • Hardware Station customization 
• Experience with Retail SDK, LCS, Azure DevOps 
• Good knowledge of SQL Server and Retail Channel DB 
• Proven experience working in Microsoft Dynamics Partner implementation projects Communication & Soft Skills (Mandatory) 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong ability to interact with clients, onshore teams, and stakeholders 
• Experience in remote project delivery and virtual collaboration 
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users 
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, and proactive mindset Good to Have 
• Experience with D365 Commerce Cloud Scale Unit (CSU) 
• Payment connector or fiscal device integrations 
• Exposure to global retail implementations 
• Microsoft certifications in D365 Retail / Commerce Eligibility Criteria 
• 8+ years of relevant D365 Retail POS technical experience 
• Must be from a Microsoft Dynamics Partner organization 
• Excellent communication skills are mandatory
