Citi Bank is hiring for the role of Metadata and Data Lineage Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Accountable for monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and/or evaluating processes and data to ensure their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
• Interpret data and makes recommendations
• Identify inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues, and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices
• Present information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity
• Report Data Quality defects through the Data Concern Remediation Management process
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of Collibra and other Data Governance industry standard tools
• Intermediate proficiency in System Query Language (SQL)
• Working knowledge of Tableau (report consumer, developer, etc.)
• Demonstrated understanding of Database structures
• Working knowledge of industry practice and standards
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Flexible, team-oriented, and good interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
