Deloitte is hiring for the role of Mergers & Acquisitions Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understand the work request and identify the right resource to allocate to a given work request.
• Handle detailed interactions with clients/onsite team, including project deliverables or discussions for upcoming projects.
• Chip in and execute work requests where a team member requires help.
• Execute more complex work requests.
• Guide team members in working on different deals, addressing any queries, and providing value-adding to the deliverable.
• Ensure the delivery of project work within the agreed timeline.
• Ensure the overall utilization of the team and project workflow by onsite users.
• Review work prepared by the Project Lead for final sign-off, as required.
• Mentor the team professionals and provide feedback on their performance.

Requirements:

• CA/MBA (Finance) with relevant experience in financial analysis and interpretation, preferably with experience working in an M&A transaction support team. Industry expertise will be a preference
• Experience in handling a team for 2-3 years in a Big 4 firm or any renowned company
• Have an eye for detail, advanced understanding of accounting concepts and good analytical skills
• Have expert knowledge of MS Excel (with advanced knowledge of charts/graphs/pivot tables/macros)
• Have leadership, coaching, counselling and supervisory skills
• Experience in handling financial data through Alteryx
