D E Shaw & Co. is hiring for the role of Member, Tech Ops!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide on-demand front-line support for the business-critical applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot in case of any production issues.
• Follow up with various teams as needed to fix the issues.
• Make efforts to understand the application’s criticality and its impact on the other products.
• Set up and manage the production/UAT infrastructure for the complete applications.
• Handle various Systems Migrations and upgrades affecting the applications.
• Handle software configuration changes and deployment of the applications.
• Ensure that the ops documentation is in place for the various applications owned by ComplyTech.
• Automate and streamline the various ops processes and develop productivity improvement tools.

Requirements:

• Have a BCA/BSc (Computer Science/IT)/B.E./B.Tech. degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in handling IT-ops for production-critical applications.
• Experience in the fintech domain is a plus.
• Candidate should be flexible with the working hours.
• The ideal candidate should have worked in a Linux environment.
• The candidate should be able to write/debug scripts in Python.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases is a plus.
• The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, learning skills, and critical thinking.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and monitoring tools will be preferred.
