Key Responsibilities:

Media Monitoring:

  • Track media coverage across print, online, social media, and broadcast platforms.
  • Identify trends, topics, and sentiments about brands, industries, or competitors.

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Gather data on media consumption patterns, advertising effectiveness, and audience engagement.
  • Analyze data to provide actionable insights regarding media trends and campaign performance.

Campaign Performance Reporting:

  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of media campaigns (e.g., return on investment, reach, engagement).
  • Generate detailed reports with key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.

Market Research:

  • Conduct research on target audiences, competitors, and industry trends to support marketing and media strategies.
  • Analyze the impact of media coverage on brand reputation and market positioning.

Sentiment Analysis:

  • Use tools and software to perform sentiment analysis, understanding the public perception of a brand or product.
  • Provide feedback on how media exposure is influencing consumer opinion.

Collaboration with Teams:

  • Work closely with marketing, public relations, and advertising teams to optimize campaign strategies based on media analysis.
  • Collaborate with content creators and social media managers to align strategies with media insights.

Presentation of Findings:

  • Present insights and reports to management, clients, or other stakeholders.
  • Suggest improvements to media strategies and tactics based on data analysis.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, media studies, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in media analytics, marketing analytics, or digital marketing are a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in media monitoring tools (e.g., Meltwater, Brandwatch, Cision).
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and software (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics).

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in media analysis, marketing analytics, or a similar role.
  • Experience in handling large datasets and performing advanced analysis.
