Meltwater Group is hiring for the role of Media Analyst!

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Collect data on companies, competitors, and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations.   
• Understand business objectives and perform accordingly.   
• Compile and analyze raw and statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it.   
• Perform valid and reliable market research using the Google search engine.   
• Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations.   
• Provide competitive analysis of ‘various companies’ market offerings, identify their CEO, Founded Date, Revenue, Employee counts, and other firmographic details of the companies.  
• Evaluation of key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct.   
• Remain fully informed on search methodologies, and other parties' research and implement best practices.   
• Validation and categorization of special events such as Funding, Acquisition, and Leader Changes.  

Requirements:

• Basic and intermediate-level market research analysis experience
• Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Search engines, web analytics, and business research tools   
• Adequate knowledge of data collection methods   
• Working knowledge of data warehousing, modeling, and mining   
• Strong analytical and critical thinking
