Ecozen Solutions Private Limited is hiring for the role of Mechanical Test Engineer!

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute mechanical and thermal tests to evaluate system performance under various conditions.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and protocols to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Integrated Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) with temperature and pressure sensors into test setups for real-time monitoring and data collection.
• Analyze test data and compile comprehensive reports highlighting findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to implement improvements based on test results.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage test schedules, resources, and test equipment to ensure timely and effective project completion.
• Conducted mechanical and thermal testing on a variety of components and systems.
• Prepared detailed technical documentation, including test plans, data analysis reports, and validation protocols.
• Assisted in the development of new testing methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Worked closely with R&D teams to support product development and optimization.
• Maintained and calibrated testing equipment to ensure precision and reliability.
• Utilize DFMA principles to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing and assembly.
• Develop and implement DVPR to validate design specifications and requirements.
• Conduct FMEA to identify potential failure modes and implement mitigation strategies.
• Perform RCA to determine the root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
• Identified and resolved issues during testing, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous improvement.
• Have good knowledge of test equipment and environmental test procedures.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent certification in mechanical engineering technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a mechanical test engineer or similar role, preferably in a research and development environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of mechanical testing techniques and equipment.
• Proficiency in data analysis software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with CAD software for basic design tasks is a plus.
• Basic understanding of CAE and CFD principles and their application in product testing and validation.
• Basic knowledge of electrical & electronic devices is a plus.
