Sansera is hiring for the role of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, such as component failures, wear and tear, or malfunctions promptly. Perform necessary repairs or replacements to minimize downtime.
• Assembly and Installation: As a Mechanical Technician, your primary responsibility will be assembling and installing mechanical components, following engineering instructions and technical drawings. This includes the setup and calibration of machinery and equipment to meet production requirements.
• Testing and Inspection: Perform rigorous testing and inspection of mechanical systems and equipment, utilizing various tools and techniques to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Conduct routine checks for potential faults and carry out preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected breakdowns.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements. Prepare detailed reports on equipment performance, identifying trends, and potential risks, and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while performing tasks, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues. Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, production operators, and quality control specialists, to facilitate smooth operations and resolve technical issues efficiently. Offer technical support and guidance to colleagues when needed.
• Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to mechanical engineering. Actively participate in training programs or workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A certificate, diploma, or degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals. Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, and assembly techniques. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex mechanical problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
