Baker Hughes is hiring for the role of  Mechanical Engineering Operations Engineer 2!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Performing configuration management is a cross-functional engineering discipline centred on an approach, mindset, and process
• Establishing and maintaining consistency in the manufacturing of control valves. product at multiple global sites and manages changes throughout the system life cycle
• Establishing and maintaining consistency of a control valve product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information and managing changes throughout the system life cycle
• Expecting to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent
• Working together with people from the business unit and across the cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• Have experience in mechanical component Manufacturing and valve assembly process, ERP such as SAP and PLM such as Team centre
• Have detailed knowledge of Control valve design, including an understanding of required material selection and coded designs, including ASME, CLS, and PED
• Performing activities that consider both the business and technical needs of customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets their needs
• Providing visibility and control of system performance and functional and physical attributes. Verifies system performs as intended and is identified and documented in sufficient detail to support its projected life cycle
