Mechanical Engineer Job in Chennai at Kone

KONE is hiring for the role of Mechanical Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for the design and development of elevator car & door components.
• Drive the development of new car, door products and modifications to existing designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including KTI, SL, and FL, to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery.
• Produce detailed design specifications, drawings, and CAD models for components, assemblies, and products.
• Analyze existing products, components, and systems to identify cost reduction opportunities without compromising on quality & safety.
• Innovate and enhance product designs, focusing on improving performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in design and development
• Should possess hands-on experience of CREO, AutoCAD and PDM tools.
• Problem solving skills, Self-Learning attitude, Good Communication, Analytical & Presentation skills.
