Mechanical Engineer Job in Bangalore at WSP

WSP is hiring for the role of Mechanical Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design pumping stations for sewage, stormwater, irrigation, potable water, and firefighting systems, including all related facilities and utilities.
• Prepare mechanical design calculations, reports, and specifications.
• Attend progress and coordination meetings, documenting the discussions.
• Liaise with local authority departments to obtain project approvals.
• Coordinate with other WSP Middle East discipline engineers for project continuity.
• Be flexible to travel within the region for meetings or short-duration on-site tasks.

Requirements:

• 0-8 years of experience in a consulting firm within the Middle East/KSA.
• Strong technical experience in designing pumping stations, storage tanks, HVAC, and surge analysis.
• Familiarity with KSA standards and international standards such as ANSI/HI, AWWA, and NFPA.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of current engineering software and technology.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Knowledge of sewage treatment works and District Cooling Plants (DCP) is a plus.
