Stanley Black & Decker is looking for Mechanical Engineer!

Responsibilities:

• Hands on knowledge of CAD tools Solidworks / Creo.
• Good design and manufacturing knowledge of mechanical parts and assemblies based on exisiting design.
• Understand customer requirements and prepare Conceptual design and development of mechanical assemblies, mechanisms and validation of load carrying members.
• Good design and manufacturing knowledge of welded structure.
• Functional and application knowledge of Tractor and Skid Steers/wheel loaders/ Excavators/ Industrial tools.
• Good Basics of mechanical engineering/ Hand calculations
• Data management in PLM systems : ECN / ECO, BOM management etc
• Design Quality check and control

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field is typically required.
• Proficiency in CAD software like Solidworks or Creo is essential for creating and modifying mechanical designs.
• Understanding and experience in using simulation tools for structural analysis, thermal analysis, or fluid dynamics
• Strong knowledge of mechanical part and assembly design, as well as manufacturing processes, is crucial.
• Ability to perform design quality checks and control to ensure that products meet specified requirements and standards.
• Effective communication skills are important for collaborating with cross-functional teams, presenting designs, and explaining technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
