Mechanical Developer Job in Aurangabad at Siemens

Siemens is hiring for the post of Mechanical Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work on the design and development of mechanical components.
• Model in Creo and create drawings as per the organization’s guidelines & standards
• Integrate the whole design in the AGILE PLM system as per the organizational regulations
• Create BOMs of assemblies in the AGILE system
• Coordinate & collaborate with other departments of the organization during the process of developing mechanical items.
• Coordinate with vendors for the development of components.
• Support project teams in arranging for tests on products.

Requirements:

• Working experience of about 2 - 3 years in R&D departments of large Electrical/HV switchgear manufacturing organizations is preferred
• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is a must
• Diversity candidate preferred
• Sound Knowledge of Creo/AGILE PLM software is essential
• Should be able to create 3D models of components & assemblies of complex shapes independently
• Should be able to create & manage large assemblies in Creo
• Creation of Drawings in Creo and integration with AGILE system
• Sound knowledge of GD&T is essential
• Working knowledge of mechanical design principles with standard components
• Make Independent calculations (rigidity, strength, diameters, durability) to dimension parts and components
• Should have basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, Material & Quality inspection tools
• Initiate & take part in the development & Type tests and evaluation of type test results
• MS Office/Creo/Agile/ANSYS/other FEA tools
• Should be a good learner
• Proactive mindset and approach to serve colleagues, and internal and external customers
• Time management and Prioritization Skills
