Mechanical Design Engineer - Transformer Service Job in Gandhinagar at Hitachi Energy India

Hitachi Energy is hiring for the role of Mechanical Design Engineer - Transformer Service!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• You will be responsible to work for design support for all transformer re-engineering service projects.
• You are expected to work as a team with a Local Engineering Team heavily specialized in power Transformer design covering different countries.
• You will be responsible for the development of transformer designs-, Order design, transformer layouts, and accessory selection.
• You will involve in the optimization of design as per customer specification and standard application, performing design calculations, prepare purchasing drawings.
• You will review designs, participate in & conduct internal design concept reviews, and conduct customer design review meetings.
• You will be involved in BOM loading Product inspection during the manufacturing process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree of Mechanical Engineering
• More than 2 years of working experience in the Power Transformers industrial is preferred
• Further experience working in Mechanical design for Power Transformers would be advantageous
• Being able to use Cre-o would be advantageous
• Understanding of Power Transformer Mechanical Design would be advantageous
• Experience with Microsoft office and tools
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
