Mechanical Design Engineer Job in Ahmedabad at Gridbots

Gridbots is hiring for the role of Mechanical Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Should have excellent working experience on SolidWorks.
• Prepare calculations on the proposed machine before completing technical drawings
• Creates CAD models, including part and assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) to
• support manufacturing, testing, and assembly, and support components to assist with assembly.
• Should be excellent working on Weldment, Sheet Metal, Simulation, Part assembly, FEA.
• Sketch and draw up designs using input from engineers and the production team
• Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysis
• Create designs in line with company procedure, regulations, and client standards
• Submit drawings to upper management and construction teams
• Use customer feedback and data to upgrade, improve or repair the company's existing machines
• Provide support during the building and installation process, ensuring that the machine is built properly and according to design specifications
• Finalize designs and send prints to the production department

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years' Industrial experience in an engineering role or related experience
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks modeling, drawings, and machine design with experience in design, and analyses.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes including turning, milling, and welding. Strong computer and mathematical skills
• Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change
• Able to work in a team environment
• Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative
