Mechanical Design Engineer Job in Bangalore at Juniper Networks (JN)

Juniper Network is hiring for the role of Mechanical Design Engineer!!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Serve as a key member of the thermal analysis team, overseeing all aspects of thermal design and analysis for Juniper products
• Negotiate thermal and related mechanical and electrical product requirements
• Conduct thermal feasibility studies to assess design viability
• Develop and contribute to conceptual architectures that meet system requirements
• Perform detailed thermal analysis and simulation, including airflow analysis
• Specify thermal components such as heat sinks, air movers, thermal interface materials, and adhesives
• Develop practical solutions to address severe thermal challenges
• Prepare and review test plans, supervising testing processes
• Conduct detailed technical peer reviews of work by other thermal analysis team members
• Participate in strategic decisions between engineering teams and Business Unit leadership
• Support advanced technology development initiatives
• Provide oversight for engineering and product testing activities
• Engage in other special projects as required

Requirements:

• An advanced degree focusing on Thermal Engineering is considered a plus.  
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering; an advanced degree is a plus
• At least 5 years of engineering experience in designing complex electronic systems
• Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in thermal engineering
