Hitachi Energy India is hiring for the role of Mechanical Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Preparing customer documents.
• Creating manufacturing drawings and bills of materials.
• Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factory network.
• Participating in internal design concept reviews.
• Designing according to market and sales strategy to meet market needs.
• Demonstrating team-building and networking skills would be preferred.
• Being a team player, open with information, and willingly contributing to team discussions with an ability to work without supervision when required.

Requirements: 

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-7 years experience working in Mechanical design for the Distribution or Power transformer manufacturing industry according to international standards like IEC, DIN, IEEE, and EN. Candidates with higher experience are also to be considered.
• Auto cad, any 3D software – Creo is considered as an advantage.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and tools.
• Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
• Additional language knowledge is considered an advantage.
• Quick learner with the ability to master new areas.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
