Mechanical Design Engineer Job in Vadodara at Hitachi

Hitachi is hiring for the role of Mechanical Design Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Prepare of creating and revising standard Creo 3D Models that are used by multiple locations
• Develop the Power Transformer mechanical design tools that are used in Creo.
• Develop of various applications in coordination with the global Hitachi Energy design platform in different areas of transformer Mechanical design scope (Tank, cleats and leads an active part).
• Coordinate design activities within a worldwide factories network.
• Participate in internal design concept reviews.
• Train users and help troubleshoot design tool issues.

Requirements:

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-7 years experience working in Mechanical design for the Power Transformers manufacturing industry. Candidates with higher experience are also to be considered.
• Knowledge of Creo CAD 3D modelling software is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and tools.
• Experience in creating reusable programmed standard 3D models.
• Experience with Program Development using CREO.  This includes program, layout (Notebooks) and a very good understanding of Relations.
• Very Organized and must have the ability to work on your own with minimum direction given.
• Attention to detail and high quality are needed.
• A team player, open with information and willingly contributes to team discussions with an ability to work without supervision when required.
• Quick learner with the ability to master new areas.
• Additional language knowledge is considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
