Mechanical Calculation Engineer Job in Pune at Alfa Laval

Alfa Laval is hiring for the role of Mechanical Calculation Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct mechanical calculations and finite element analysis using ANSYS to evaluate the structural integrity of the SPIRAL heat exchanger.
• Develop and validate analytical calculation models using Excel to support design decisions.
• Prepare technical reports documenting analysis results, methodologies, and design recommendations.
• Collaborate with the design team to identify and resolve engineering issues, providing technical alternatives, as necessary.
• Ensure all calculations and analyses meet ASME standards or EN13445 standards and project requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide calculation support to engineering departments.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Solid experience in mechanical calculations and finite element analysis.
• Proficiency in ANSYS for performing advanced simulations and static analysis.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word for generating detailed technical reports.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for creating and managing analytical calculation models.
• Ability to propose technical solutions to complex engineering problems.
