Maruti Suzuki is hiring for the role of Material procurement and handling Incharge PTAS!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Procuring and storing of Indirect consumables.
• Receiving and issuing materials online as per production plan and addressing production issues to minimize delay.
• Updating the management about inventory level, perpetual inventory, and production.
• Monitoring production process to meet the timely completion of requirements within budget.
• Ensuring requisite availability of material, manpower, and equipment.
• Complying with material planning and procurement rules, considering Environmental compliances as well.
• Negotiating with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Receiving and approving of parts and services as per purchase terms
• Performing risk assessment on potential contracts with suppliers.
• Preparing budget: Revenue and Capital

Requirements:

• Hands-on Production and procurement experience
• Material Layout planning & FIFO knowledge
• Process Skills: Material handling while receiving and issuing.
• Sound knowledge of material requirement planning and related software (Oracle, SAP, proficient in MS Office).
• In-depth knowledge of preparing & reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
• Manpower management skills.
