About this Job
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to drive sales and achieve business goals.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior, trends, and competition to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with the product development team to create product assortments that align with market demands and company objectives.
- Plan and manage product pricing, promotions, and markdowns to optimize margins and inventory turnover.
- Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks, and take appropriate actions.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms and conditions to ensure product quality, availability, and profitability.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns and ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
- Train and mentor merchandising team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development and success.
