Wacker is hiring for the role of Marketing Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Technically competent to analyze the overall market using standard tools already available.
• Analyzing market trend, customer’s strategic move as well as competitors’ activity
• Develop and communicate an effective marketing strategy to improve upon sales revenue apart from visiting customers
• Analyzing Untapped market, identify growth opportunity in new area of application and advice project feasibility for development
• Ownership of Margin setting according to pack size, application, MOQ etc using PROS over the base price received from controlling
• Managing financial aspects of marketing supporting key supply issues
• Mid to long term volume Forecast using IBP, analyzing sales forecast accuracy to justify the future investment
• Support business growth by leading & coordinating marketing activities like exhibition, customer events etc.
• Interface with SCM, controlling and sales for product portfolio optimization to drive better profitability.
• Responsible for correct Pricing, especially for new products. Monitor pricing to ensure adequate profitability.
• Meticulous observation of the commodity markets and maintain dynamic price for the company's commodity business

Requirements:

• Should have decent understanding of Chemicals/Chemical Industry.( Past domain can be from any Chemical Industry – Agro, Food, Pharma, Paints, Polymers, Personal Care, Home Care, Oil & Gas, Plastics, Textiles,  or any Basic Chemicals for B2B )
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Gather consumer insights and market intelligence from various external sources.
• Knowledge of advanced excel, including Macros, Pivots, advanced statistics, regression and using database sources.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python/R is preferable.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and SAP Hybris/Price transactions.
• Should have command of Powerpoint, Tableau / Power BI
• Alteryx is a plus.
• Able to analyze the Financials of a Company.
• Must have the experience to handle different software tools to demonstrate the concept
• Should have the techno commercial roles and responsibility
