Taylor and Francis Group is hiring for the role of Marketing Executive, SASSA!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Effectively collaborate with the team to execute targeted campaigns, develop creative, impactful collateral, and attend conferences that will help us achieve strategic goals.
• Plan, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage with the audience. Monitor email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and other relevant metrics.
• Expertly manage Google AdWords campaigns and utilize Google Analytics for insights, KPI tracking, and refining marketing strategies.
• Understand user behavior, through continual testing and optimization strategies (including A/B testing) and ongoing reporting on channel performance, to optimize plans
• Plan and coordinate participation in industry conferences, trade shows, and events. Manage logistics, booth setup, and promotional activities during conferences.
• Create branded visual assets (static images and simple animations/videos) for use across marketing channels including email banners, social media assets, websites, etc
• Undertake and support market research to understand customer, competitor, and market developments, feeding outcomes into own plans and those of the wider department.
• Accountable for managing own learning, taking responsibility to identify and develop skills gaps

Requirements:

• Experience in a marketing environment, understanding of the role of marketing, and the implementation of evidence-based marketing campaigns
• Knowledge and ability with IT systems including core MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), web/cloud-based databases, CMS, email creation platforms, and/or other bespoke IT systems.
• Proficient in using analytics tools to measure and optimize campaign performance.
• Possess skillset in digital marketing to demonstrate a solid understanding of online channels, SEO, SEM, social media, and analytics
• Showcase expertise in content marketing in creating engaging and impactful content across various platforms.
• Understanding of project management tools.
• Excellent marketing portfolio/channel, relationship, & communication management skills
