Deloitte is hiring for the role of Market Insights Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct secondary research on companies, industries, and markets using databases like Factiva, Capital IQ, Pitchbook, Bloomberg, IBISWorld, etc.
• Develop insights, reports, presentations, and executive-ready summaries to support business development and relationship-building efforts.
• Analyze company data, industry trends, and competitive intelligence to support targeting and growth strategies.
• Create frameworks, templates, and maintain targeting databases for organized research output.
• Prepare internal/external communications, marketing collateral, and pursuit materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, identify organizational connections, and share best practices.
• Adhere to established processes, tools, and protocols to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Perform storyboarding, data interpretation, trend analysis, and follow-up reporting.
• Work independently and in teams to deliver high-quality research with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (MBA/PGDBM), preferably in Finance or Marketing.
• 1–2 years of experience in secondary research, market research, or marketing operations.
• Experience with research databases: Factiva, OneSource, Hoovers, Thomson, BoardEx, Capital IQ, Pitchbook, Bloomberg, IBIS World, etc.
• Strong analytical skills: ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and create structured storyboards.
• Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills.
• Understanding of business development practices; knowledge of audit practice preferred.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, adapt quickly, think logically, and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in dynamic, matrixed environments.
