Market Analyst Internship in Hyderabad at Intercontinental Exchange

ICE is hiring for the role of Market Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Analyze pricing data to identify trends and relationships to reflect fair valuations across ICE asset markets including Energy, Interest Rates, Agriculture, Equity Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, FX, and Physical Environmental.
• Generate daily closing prices for cleared futures and option contracts.
• Validate settlement prices against predefined criteria for top-day and historical days.
• Handle ongoing support and maintenance for existing ICE products.
• Provide front-line customer service support related to cleared product pricing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Business Management/Economics/Finance/Math & Stats with 2+ years of work experience in an analytical role in the finance domain.
• Knowledge in Derivative space focusing on future and options market structure and pricing is essential.
• Exposure to commodity markets or financial trading environment background is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel is required, Visual Basic or other analytical applications a plus.
• Experience in a scripting language is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be self-directed and be able to work within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
• Professional customer-facing telephone manner.
• Position involves working in US hours.
