Manufacturing Test Engineer Job in Bengaluru at Skydio

Skydio is hiring for the role of Manufacturing Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

• Provide test leadership to ensure each station is operating as expected
• Take ownership of manufacturing test stations, software versions, and test station quality
• Develop a deep technical understanding of manufacturing operations, processes, and test flows
• Assist Skydio HQ Manufacturing Test team with remote debugging
• Ensure all stations are audited and qualified before production starts daily
• Work independently to overcome roadblocks with minimum guidance 
• Self-prioritize and troubleshoot production line issues with urgency

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science
• Proficient in Python software development
• Good experience with DMM, Scopes, Signal generators, and soldering
• Strong experience with PC, networking, setting up computers, etc
• Experience with Linux OS and developing/running bash scripts
• Ability to analyze data to investigate test failures, assess design gaps, show process capability and equipment reliability
• Expertise in communication interface protocols - UART, USB, I2C, GPIB, RS-232.
