Caterpillar Inc. is hiring for the job role of Manufacturing Technician!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, Develop, Simulate, Test, and Execute complex Manufacturing processes and application solutions in Digital Platforms including Power apps, Power automation, and Power BI.
• Develop and implements the integration of manufacturing systems including SAP, MES, Team Center manufacturing, etc.
• Design & develop the special application equipment & software for Product function monitoring.
• Design & develop the Live Dashboards and Centralized data processing systems at various software platforms.
• Led the new Digital process equipment and systems planning, approval, and execution by coordination with the GIS team.
• Leads improvement projects to identify creative and innovative solutions through adequate root cause analysis to address operational issues including ergonomic/safety risks, quality concerns, efficiency and cost savings improvements, and process bottlenecks.
• Implement engineering changes (ECNs), process changes, and capacity changes.
• Identify suitable suppliers for new technology introduction and Integration of existing applications
• Develops Standard Work, PFMEA, and SFMEA for assembly processes.
• Support the NPI process to ensure that manufacturing processes and documentation are processed on time for the NPI build.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related technical discipline
• 5 years overall experience with at least 2+ years in manufacturing engineering
• Excellence communication and Analytical skills
• Microsoft Office 365 Tools usage & Application development
• PLC & SCADA database
• Team center vis mockup
