Wabtec Corporation is hiring for the role of Manufacturing Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Project execution and Controls include Planning for new assembly setup as well as Drawing changes understanding.
• Study operations sequence, material flow, and project information to determine job functions and responsibilities.
• Follow Master Project Plan and gateways tracking to manage the project timeline and ensure the P&E are available to complete the project within time to meet customer delivery schedule.
• Maintain Risk Register / Risk analysis and mitigation plan for any highlighted challenges across the CFT.
• Create and maintain Manufacturing Instructions, lift plans, PFDs, PFMEA, SOD, Heatmap, etc.
• Material non-conformity understanding to ensure quick decision-making based on process and product knowledge.

Requirements:                        

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Manufacturing Technology Engineering
• Experience: 1 to 5 years (max.)
• Strong background in the interpretation of Engineering drawings/specifications & manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, PowerPoint, Project, etc.
• Knowledge of Process Engineering, Project Management, FMEA, and Stakeholder Management will be preferable for experienced candidates.
• A good understanding of product tooling shall be able to implicate advanced tooling.
• Shall be able to work as a product and process expert to help/guide Operations, Quality, and Supplier quality engineers.
• Flexible to Shift working.
