Daimler Truck is hiring for the role of Manufacturing Design Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- DMU Study & Design Finalization with R&D
- PFD & PFMEA preparation
- Process & Equipment planning, Installation & Prove out
- RFQ Preparation & PR/PO process
- Continuous improvement for debottlenecking Safety, Quality, Delivery
- SMH Updation based on Time study & line balancing
- Evaluation & implementation of Series Changes
- Quality Prove out for new models (Weld Integrity, Geometry accuracy)
- Representation in System Teams forum
- Safety & Ergonomics Study & implement action
Requirements:
- Expertise in Vehicle Assy Process & methods
- Expertise on PFD/PFMEA/DFMEA/QC Tools
- Layout & Process Planning,Implementation
- Facility planning and implementation
- Expertise in Time Study & Line balancing
- Expertise on CAD softwares (NX, Microstation, Team center)
- Lean manufacturing
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- Knowledge of MOST time study, CAD softwares, Process planning
- Language skills: English
- Teamwork, motivation, communication skills
