Harman International is hiring for the role of Manual and Automation Tester!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct a thorough analysis of the technical characteristics of equipment systems.
• Evaluate written code to ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Devise and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies.
• Coordinate and manage phased testing with the QA engineering team.
• Demonstrate adeptness in testing concepts and methodologies.
• Execute the test execution process and proficiently manage the defect life cycle and test plan.
• Detect and classify bugs based on severity and priority.
• Conduct functional, regression, re-testing, and sanity testing with precision and accuracy.
• Create comprehensive traceability matrices to map business requirements with test cases.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements for developing quality test cases.
• Design and execute test cases to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are thoroughly tested and met.
• Develop, modify, and improve both manual test cases and test scripts using Selenium Web Driver.
• Implement and execute test scripts on multiple browsers, including Firefox and Chrome.
• Demonstrate proficiency in automating Web Applications using Selenium Web Driver or any other automation testing tool, in conjunction with the TestNG Framework.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record and experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role.
• Preferred experience in testing E-Commerce-based Applications.
• Excellent understanding of testing methodologies for Rest API, SOAP-based Web Service, and Integration testing.
• Proficiency in testing concepts and methodologies.
• Adept understanding of the test execution process, defect life cycle, and test plan.
• Experience in functional, regression, re-testing, and sanity testing.
• Proficiency in test automation using Selenium Web Driver with JAVA.
• Experience in creating, modifying, and enhancing both manual test cases and test scripts using Selenium Web Driver.
• Experience in automating Web Applications using Selenium Web Driver with the TestNG Framework.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
