Manager Trade Finance Job in Mumbai at Tata Steel

Tata Steel is hiring for the role of Manager Trade Finance!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assess trade finance-related requirements by interacting with multiple business teams across TSL and Group companies.
• Execute domestic and international trade finance alongside business teams like Marketing and Sales, Exports, Marketing Finance, Financial Reporting Center, Procurement team, F&A, Legal, etc.
• Seek inputs on available solutions from banks and financial institutions.
• Stay informed about global events influencing the business.
• Prepare internal papers and present business cases.
• Finalize documents for trade finance arrangements with banks, especially for offshore entities, in collaboration with lawyers.
• Monitor bank covenants and ensure compliance.
• Prepare management information system (MIS) reports at regular intervals and compile board notes

Requirements:

• Work experience of 2-3 years in Finance function. Should have business acumen and a basic understanding of Trade finance arrangements, concepts of Working Capital Management, and Corporate finance
• Education/Qualification: CA/ICWA/MBA in Finance
• Good analytical and writing skills with a solid understanding of Trade Finance structures.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• The ability to use Bloomberg and other financial databases is an additional qualification.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with diverse teams within and outside the company.
• Agile and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
