Manager - Tax Job in Gurgaon at SBI Cards

SBI Cards is hiring for the role of Manager - Tax!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Coordinate with various functions for input data
• Analyze the data and obtain clarification from stakeholders as required
• Prepare tax computations
• Review and payment of taxes
• Prepare periodic indirect tax returns backed up with requisite data, reconciliation
• Supervise process of preparation of monthly Cenvat credit register (ensuring compliance to eligibility criteria set in Cenvat Credit Rules) and related coordination work such as arranging data, invoices, agreements, payment dates etc.
• Coordinate with users for queries relating to Cenvat credit and educating them on importance of invoicing related aspects for availment of Cenvat credit
• Monitor vendor management viz. vendor enrollment and payment of bills etc. 
• Review and analysis of tax triggers in IT systems
• Analyze GST implications on projects, new products etc. and its implementation in IT and B2P systems

Requirements:

• Candidate must be Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2-3 years of post qualification experience in indirect taxes with multinational company (preferably in financial sector) and in ERP environment.
• Candidate possessing fair knowledge of IT systems used in financial sector business (VisionPLUS etc.) will be preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and within prescribed time constraints.
• Highly process orientated with intense desire to ensure no process gaps.
• Strong Excel skills (imperative and non negotiable)
• Strong influencing skills and project management skills
• Self-starter, keen learner, team worker, innovative and problem-solver
• Experience of IT systems used in financial sector business (VISIONPLUS etc.)
• Experience of working with tax authorities
