Purplle is hiring for the role of Manager - Network Level Inventory!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Drive structured initiatives to reduce inventory losses across FCs, DCs, and Dark Stores.
• Identify node-level shrinkage hotspots, deploy corrective actions, and institutionalize best practices.
• Partner with Operations, Tech, and Logistics to close systemic gaps across end-to-end supply chain flows.
• Enforce Inward accuracy (SKU/EAN, batch/lot, MRP/GST, expiry, quantity).
• Implement gatekeeping and putaway checks (ASN/PO match, packaging integrity, FEFO adherence).
• Lead cycle counts, SBCs, and detailed bin audits, ensuring >99.5% accuracy and >95% adherence.
• Resolve exceptions (overage, shortage, damages, near-expiry, mis-bins) with clear SOP-based flows.
• Maintain master data hygiene (MRP, GST slabs, shelf-life, HSNs) with escalation to Category/Finance.
• Audit STOs and inter-node movements (pick/pack/dispatch accuracy, seal control, custody chain).
• Monitor IWT/GON movements, ensuring milestone scans and exception alerts for in-transit shipments.
• Lead aging-in-transit reviews, driving RCA and systemic fixes with Ops, Tech, and Logistics.
• Manage RTO discrepancies (damage/missing vs packing evidence).
• Prepare claim packs (timestamps, HHD/WMS logs, trimmed video clips, images, weight/dimension proof).
• Drive SLA adherence with 3PLs, escalating chronic lanes/pincodes, and tracking recovery outcomes.
• Build dashboards (shrinkage by node × category, audit adherence, claim funnel, near-expiry risks).
• Conduct RCA (A3, 5-Whys, Pareto), pilot process fixes, and standardize via SOPs.
• Collaborate with Product/Tech to enhance WMS/ERP workflows, auto-triggers, and access controls.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years in e-commerce/omnichannel warehousing, ICQA, or inventory control.
• Strong analytical ability: Excel (pivot, lookup, Power Query), SQL (preferred), BI tools (Metabase/Power BI/Tableau).
• Hands-on experience with WMS/ERP processes (GRN, putaway, cycle count, STO, RTO, quarantine).
• Proven track record in audit design & execution, floor operations, and discrepancy resolution.
• Exposure to vendor/3PL claim management with evidence-based closure.
• Strong problem-solving and SOP-writing skills.
