Mahindra is hiring for the role of Manager - Mobile App Development!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborating with the product management and design teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and usability.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code using industry best practices and coding standards.
• Conducting thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues and optimize application performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver seamless integration and functionality.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Android app development.
• Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to established standards.
• Optimizing application performance, implement memory management techniques, and address security vulnerabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining Android applications, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages for Android development.
• Solid understanding of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries and APIs.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, for code collaboration and management.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices, including responsive design and material design guidelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for staying updated with the latest developments in mobile app technologies
