Manager - Machine Learning Job at Vodafone

Vodafone is hiring for the role of Manager!

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms for AI applications, with a focus on chatbots and RAG systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative AI solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines for training and deploying machine learning models.
• Evaluate and improve the performance of AI models through rigorous testing and optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, generative AI, and machine learning technologies, especially focusing on how they could improve user experience and performance improvement for the platform
• Document and present findings, methodologies, and results to stakeholders and team members.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Engage in typical support activities such as prompt optimization, testing pipeline performance, modifying the data lifecycle and data ingestion pipelines, managing multilingual behavior of text generation, and conducting root-cause analysis of generated wrong answers

Requirements:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Patience, proactiveness, willingness to take ownership, and a didactic approach
• Strong communication skills, ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Must understand SAFE Agile and Agile Methodologies and have experience in understanding Jira tool.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from reputed institutions.
• Any additional professional certifications in AI/ML engineering or Conversational AI will be a plus.
