Management Trainee - Financial Reporting & Accounting Job in Gurgaon at AXA XL

AXA XL is hiring for the role of Management Trainee - Financial Reporting & Accounting!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Development and preparation of comprehensive Management Information tools & dashboards by understanding business specifications and translating them into automated modules (e.g., Chief Executive Packs, Interactive reports).
• Detailed & in-depth analysis (e.g., Budget variance & ratio analysis) and review of financial results and various heads of profit & loss accounts by region, business segment, country, and legal entity, along with preparing commentary.
• Development and testing of change management for reporting tools.
• Designing and developing new business analytics to support decision-making.
• Creation and implementation of proper controls and checks for deliverables, with production and maintenance of appropriate supporting documentation (related to process, systems, and controls).
• Driving process automation and standardization of various reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Maintaining effective communication with the onshore team (both written and verbal) and managing expectations.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant with relevant years of post-qualification experience or MBA (Finance) with relevant post-qualification experience in a reputable organization with a strong Finance Planning & Analysis background.
• Effective functional skills, combined with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with desirable skills in data slicing & dicing, MS Access, and SQL.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams globally.
