Genpact is hiring for the role of Management Trainee- Cash Applications!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Daily liquidity management for cash funding
• IC loan, G&A and capital contribution settlement with other platforms
• Actual cash analysis on platform and group consolidation
• Counterparty risk management for platform and group
• Preference share dividend Interest payment and long-term debt booking
• Corporate credit card booking and reconciliation
• Review collection reports and monitor outstanding balances
• Manage queries, statements, invoices, and premium remittances via finance email box
• Download daily bank transactions, update cash log files, and allocate funds
• Assess KYC refresh status and coordinate for missing documents
• Review claims workflow for payment processing
• Book claim payments, including proportional claims
• Match premiums and claims in the system
• Book non-claim payments as provided by other departments
• Review and post journal entries
• Authorize bank payments as a first approver
• Age receivables and follow up on outstanding premiums
• Follow up on unmatched and unallocated premiums
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Coordinate with accounts payable and receivable teams for open items
• Maintain a summary sheet of open items with follow-up comments
• Discuss current year expense forecasts and next year planning with department heads
• Create planning templates for 30 cost centers based on gathered information
• Conduct monthly follow-up meetings with department heads
• Encourage information input into group planning templates and send to the group planning team
• Make changes to planning templates as per group planning team feedback
• Update MI expense templates quarterly
• Provide commentary on variances for QTD and YTD numbers
• Circulate plan vs. actual expense reports to department heads
• Address queries from department heads
• Maintain and update employee benefit allowance tracker

Requirements:

• B.Com Graduate
• Strong cash operations knowledge in Credit Control, Treasury, Bank Reconciliation, and FP&A
• Advanced Excel user
• Ability to take initiative
• High level of self-motivation, energy, and flexibility
• Ability to handle high workloads and meet deadlines
• Innovative and improvement-oriented (develops succession plans)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, English)
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills (provides recommendations)
