Shriram General Insurance is hiring for the role of Management Trainee!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Participate in a structured training program that encompasses rotations across different departments within the organization.
• Acquire knowledge and understanding of the general insurance industry, including products, processes, regulatory frameworks, and customer segments.
• Collaborate with department heads and senior managers to learn about their respective areas of expertise, projects, and day-to-day operations.
• Assist in conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports to support departmental initiatives and decision-making processes.
• Shadow experienced professionals and actively participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance your understanding of various functional areas.
• Work on assigned projects, both independently and as part of a team, to develop practical skills and contribute to departmental goals.
• Gain hands-on experience by assisting with tasks and activities within each department, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
• Observe and learn best practices in areas such as underwriting, claims processing, sales and marketing, customer service, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Actively seek feedback and guidance from mentors and supervisors, and leverage their expertise to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and continuously update yourself with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and synthesize data to support decision-making processes.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts effectively.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a strong drive to succeed and grow within the organization.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of the general insurance industry, including basic insurance concepts and industry trends, would be an advantage.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong computer knowledge – Proficient in data monitoring, analysis & representation using Microsoft Office tools.
• Qualification:  B.Tech / CA/ MBA from premiere institutes only. Candidates having knowledge of Advance Excel, Tableau & Power BI will be preferred.
  Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with upto 2 years of work experience are eligible to apply.
