Genpact is hiring for the role of Management Trainee!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Calculate and post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data to maintain accurate accounts payable records.
- Review invoices and requisitions, ensuring they have proper payment approval.
- Verify and calculate totals on invoices, considering applicable discounts.
- Check vendor files for previous payments and assign voucher numbers.
- Prepare vouchers with details such as invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount, and proper coding.
- Identify and implement improvements in the accounts payable process.
Requirements:
- B.Com Graduate
- Good communication skills and a highly proactive approach
- Strong subject matter expertise (SME) knowledge of accounting concepts
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- ERP knowledge, such as SAP and PeopleSoft, will be an added advantage
