Kyndryl India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the role of Mainframe Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using PL/1, Mainframe, and JCL.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design solutions that meet the needs of the organization.

• Debug and resolve issues in existing mainframe applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Perform code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for mainframe applications, including design specifications, coding standards, and user manuals.

• Ensure the security and compliance of mainframe applications, implementing necessary controls and measures.

• Optimize and tune mainframe applications for performance and resource utilization.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve and innovate mainframe development processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in mainframe development with a focus on PL/1, Mainframe, and JCL.

• Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and technologies.

• Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting mainframe applications.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Knowledge of security best practices in the mainframe environment is a plus.

• Mainframe certifications are a plus but not required.
