Ascendion is hiring for the role of Mainframe Developer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications supporting healthcare claims processing.
- Analyze business and technical requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing systems for performance and scalability.
- Ensure solutions adhere to healthcare industry standards, including HIPAA compliance.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices and coding standards.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS.
- Hands-on experience with healthcare claims processing, especially 837/835 EDI transactions.
- Solid understanding of claims adjudication workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
