Cognizant is hiring for the role of Mainframe Developer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Should have excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to stakeholders.
- Should have experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Must be able to conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Should be able to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work model.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining Mainframe COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, MQ components in accordance with project requirements
- Should possess in-depth knowledge of DB2 and COBOL with a proven track record of resolving technical issues.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
