Kyndryl India Private Limited is hiring for the role of Mainframe Computer Operator!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Monitors, controls and operates complex computer systems, networks, applications and/or distributed systems in a multi-vendor environment.
• Performs batch operations where and when required (according to service agreements).
• Analyzes first level problems for all systems (according to service agreements) and resolves/routes as appropriate.
• Develops Supporting Systems Management Processes specific to client requirements and performs I/O (tape and print) duties where appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with technical teams and end-users regarding system status and operational issues

Requirements:

• Demonstrated basic computer literacy and adaptability to digital tools
• Experience with scheduling software, reporting systems, and activity logging
• Proficient in operating systems (Windows or macOS)
• Fluent in English and Italian, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible and available to work in shifts as required
• Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task execution
• Effective communicator, able to convey information clearly in a demanding environment
• Experience with Troubleshooting, Backup/Recovery and Basic Networking
