Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• To work in the machinery division for installation and commissioning of all auxiliary as well as main machinery for both pre and post launching works. For example installation and commissioning of various types pumps, compressors, diesel generators, air conditioning and refrigeration plants. Statutory items like sewage treatment plant, oily water separator, incinerator.
• Apart from the above to do both pre and post launch shafting works which consists of establishing the propulsion line pouring of chock in A, P and stern tubes. Installation of shafts and seals. Apart from these installation of rudders and steering gears before pre launching and to do the alignment of gear boxes and engines after launching.
• Installation and commissioning of deck machinery such as windlass, mooring capstans/winches, and life boat davits along with their boats.
